WEB CREATION STAGES

The basic stages to create and upload our web page on the Internet are:

1. Planning the creation of the web page. The first stage is thinking ahead of time and performing a preliminary design.
2. Creating a directory to save our web page. We create a new folder to save the files of our web page in our hard drive in an organized manner.
3. Creating the web page. We build our web page incorporating text, images and other accessories.
4. Saving the files we create in our hard drive. It is important for us to save them in order and properly named.
5. Testing for mistakes in our web page. A) Using the Check Page function in Dreamweaver B) Previewing the web pages in a Browser to see how it will look.
6. Sending/uploading the files to the Internet. Through a specific FTP program or using the system incorporated by DreamWeaver, we send the files to the Internet to be seen by visitors.

In the following pages, we will create a simple web page, which can be viewed by anyone, to explain these 6 steps.
