Ma famille d´accueil

Ma famille habite á une demi-heure de marche de l´Université Paris 8, ce qui me plaît beaucoup car j´adore marcher.

Monsieur et Madame Michot habitent une très jolie maison avec un jardin, plein de fleurs et d´arbustes où on entend chanter les oiseaux, il y a aussi un petit étang avec des poissons rouges. La maison a quatre chambres, une grande cuisine, un salon, et une salle á manger. Il y a aussi une buanderie á côté du garage. La salle de bains est très grande.

Les Michot ont trois enfants, deux fils et une fille. Les fils s´appellent Jérôme et Julien et la fille, Caroline. Le papa s´appelle Pierre et la maman Agnès. Ils ont aussi un chien et un chat en plus de deux perruches. Le chien s´appelle Napoléon et le chat Bonaparte. Les perruches Patati et Patata, ce qui en français (patati patata) veut dire " qui parle beaucoup ". Et c´est vrai elles font beaucoup de bruit.

Moi je vais dormir dans la même chambre que Caroline. Elle a 20 ans comme moi et va á l´Université aussi. Elle étudie architecture. Moi aussi. Je suis très contente la famille est très gentille et parle français très lentement pour ne pas m´effrayer.

Il est 10:00 du soir et je suis fatiguée par le voyage et les émotions. La famille Michot me dit que je ferais mieux d´aller dormir pour être en forme demain.

My host family

My family lives a half an hour walk from the University of Paris 8, which I am very happy about because I love walking.

Mr and Mrs Michot live in a pretty house with a garden full of flowers and bushes where you can hear the birds sing, they also have a small lake with red fish. The house has four bedrooms, a large kitchen and a dining room. There is also a utility room next to the garage. The bathroom is big.

The Michot family have three children: two sons and a daughter. The sons are called Jérôme and Julien and the daughter is called Caroline. The father is called Pierre and the mother Agnès. They also have a dog and a cat and two parrots. The dog is called Napoleón and the cat Bonaparte. The parrots are called Patati and Patata, which in French means "they talk a lot". It is true, they make a lot of noise.

I'm going to sleep in the same room as Caroline. She is 20 years old like me and she also goes to university. She is studying architecture. Me too. I am really happy, the family is very friendly and they speak French slowly so as not to worry me.

It's 10:00 at night and I'm tired from the trip and my emotions. The Michot family tell me that it's probably a good idea that I go to bed so that I can be on form tomorrow.
