We are at " Carrefour
"; at first sight, it appears to be the same as the one we have in
Spain. There is also a commercial gallery; before we go into the
supermarket I recognize "Mister Minit " and " 5 á sec ".
Once in the shop, I
start to notice the differences. There are lots of shelves with books
and comics, you can also buy newspapers here, international newspapers.
The clothes are of the
same brand " TEX ", but there are also clothes by " BIOTEX ", these are
clothes made from cotton" BIO", cotton which has been created by not
many pesticides.
At the bakery, there are
many different types of bread; they even have a machine which is used
to cut the bread. At the delicatessen, what attracts my attention is
the great selection of pates and sausages, there are also many
different types of black pudding.
The most surprising part
is the cheese counter. There are more than 100 cheeses from France,
Switzerland, Belgium and Great Britain. From the whole of Europe.
I notice in the fruit
and vegetable section that there are a number of "Bio" products. There
is alsa a lot more variety. At the butchers, there are also many "Bio"
products. In the fridges, I note that people can buy many prepared
dishes for between 4€ and 6€.
On the way out, I notice
that you can reserve tickets for numerous shows in Paris.
In reality, the "
Carrefour " in France is very different to the " Carrefour " in Spain.
