Layers Tab - Fusion Modes

Now, we will learn about the Fusion Modes between Layers. To understand this concept, we will need to grant our layers some specific properties, in relation to their composition according to colour, illumination, etc.

This means that we can provide our Layers with specific characteristics which will influence upon their consequent ones. The use of Fusion Modes will enable us to get different image effects with some amazing results in some cases. Given that there are several Fusion Modes, we can experiment with them to see the result they render.

To access a specific type of fusion, we need to go to the upper part and open/display the menu (arrow next to Mode). Here, we will find the different variables we can use.

As we can see in our Example document, we have chosen a 'Soft Light' fusion on the BG2 layer.

If we were using a normal type of fusion, it would be completely covered by the layer beneath. However, since we used this type of fusion, this applies a fusion between Layers in a manner that it acquires the aspect of the lower graphic.

We can try different ones to see their result.
