You need to be aware
that the GROUP is composed of people with their own virtues and
defects, mistakes and good ideas. You can not be unfair or judge a
colleague. You need to always give them the opportunity to prove
themselves. You need to put yourself in their position and try and
understand them. Be tolerant.
Within the GROUP, as with in any
family or work environment, people assume different roles. Sometimes
one person has more than one role, depending on the environment that
surrounds them. For example, a mas may be a father to his children, a
teacher at a school, president of the social club wich he attends in
his free time, member of a football team but be quite a timid person...
With every role comes
responsability. Once a member has a certain role the group will expect
things from this member. It is important that everyone in the group is
satisfied with their role, this way determined roles are stregthened by
the GROUP.
There are a series of roles that
the GROUP should have, but at the top of the list is the leader. The
leader is the member that has the power to influence the rest of the
group. He should be a strong person that is admired for his apptitude,
participation, commitment....Other necessary roles are the 'integrator,
the 'friendly person' (always worried about creating a good atmosphere)
and the 'cold person'(necessary in conflicting situations).
